I'm BACK from the Expo NATAS travelfair.

And YEEESSSS IM GOING TAIWAN! Woohoo! 7days, departing 2nd Dec. With Five Star Tours. :D :D I can't wait. So I shall work hard now and hope I reap what I sow! Anyway its the first day of the travelfair at Expo and its already damn crowded. Here're some tipssss if you're planning to go to the fair!

1. Check out the booth that specifically promotes the country that you're planning to visit (eg. Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan..). The promoters there are much more passionate and accurate (well, its their home country anw). The man at Chan Brothers said its gonna be 5-10 degrees and we were like so shocked its gonna be so cold; while the Taiwanese lady said it would be at most 15 degrees, something like Genting. So its best to check out the individual country booths; they give good tips (such as the cheaper shopping night markets eg. Kaoshiung) and accurate information.

2. Preferably go to female promoters. The men (esp the older uncles) are just concerned with their commissions and can't be bothered with your questions. The females are much more informative; the lady at Five Stars Tours even went through the whole itenary with us with many interesting pictures/photos. While the man at SA tours just sat there and stared at us. WTH.

3. Don't only go to the big players (eg. Chan Bros, SA..), check out the small players. They do provide some good stuff the big players don't. Such as I'm going to stay at Dao Ming Si's house! Which is actually a huge 5 star spa resort which SA and Chan Bros do not offer. So yeah, check out the several itenaries and compare/contrast like in Bio. (and always remb to bring a pen!)

4. The early bird always catches the worm. Go early, where they'll offer more discounts and free goodies (eg. to the 1st 50 customers, 1st 100 ..), as they usually run out the last day. So, yeah its best to go there early.

And by the way the fair ends on Sunday if you want to check it out! :) Alright, back to reality.. the A's. :'( Nvm, Taiwan shall be my motivation now! Anyway, I LOVE Scissor Sisters. They have such great songs like Laura, Filthy/Gorgeous, Take Your Mama Out, Mary and their new song I Don't Feel Like Dancin'. Ironically this song makes me feel like dancin' :D

Wake up in the morning with a head like 'what ya done?'
This used to be the life but I don't need another one.
Good luck cuttin' nothin', carrying on, you wear them gowns
So how come I feel so lonely when you're up getting down?

So I play along when I hear that favourite song
I'm gonna be the one who gets it right.
You better know when you're swingin' round the room
Look's like magic's solely yours tonight

But I don't feel like dancin'
When the old Joanna plays
My heart could take a chance
But my two feet can't find a way
You think that I could muster up a little soft, shoop devil sway
But I don't feel like dancin'
No sir, no dancin' today

Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin'

You just gotta love their videos :P Its so old school but its damn good!

Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin'

Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama Out (my FAVE)

Scissor Sisters - Laura (you MUST at least listen to this song!)

Scissor Sisters - Mary (video's not as good as the others but I still loove the song!)

All it took was a smile.

:D Finally met up with my two pretty babes Wendy and Lydia yesterday! Haha, was too shagged to blog about it yesterday.. anyway had loads of laughter and talks.. I'm so, so glad to have you guys in my life! You're both my sunshines x) <3 you guys! And we finally took neos after EONS! (eh no pun intended)

May our friendship last forever and ever like how the ring will be stuck on Lydia's thumb forever and ever..... ;p

Anyway also finally bought my Fox skirt and I looove it! Thanks Wendy for the 20% staff discount hee. We travelled from Harbourfront to PS to Marina Square.. Gosh, my birks were killing me. I don't think I'm wearing those birks anymore, lol. Then we ate dinner at coffee club, and had my long-craved country pie and fondue! Too bad we didn't hang out at Esplanade as planned because it was too late. But nvm, perhaps one day after studying we can go there and catch up somemore! Missing you guys already. :(

Alright, going travel fair at expo with mom later.. hoho. Taiwan ah taiwan....... Ah Bian please just xia tai so everything will be more peaceful and tourists won't be attacked by flying chairs.

What a day. Only went school for chem and bio; and in the end didn't even give back our papers! Yeah, perhaps only Chemistry paper 2.. but wah, that paper only makes me even more demoralized. I really, really hope for an E for Chemistry so it doesn't look so bad, but I think I may not even pass. :( URGH why can't I just do well for Chem?!

Anyway after chem tutorial we walked over to Tampines CC Macs for breakfast; and in just 15 minutes, we witnessed a guy on a bicycle getting knocked down by a car, and when we wanted to help we stepped on a grass full of HUGE RED ANTS and got attacked by them. -.- We were like screaming hysterically and trying desperately to sweep them off. Urgh, they were like 2 freaking cm long! And their bites are darn painful lah. Digusting ants. I feel darn itchy just thinking about the incident. Oh yah, then we saw a man talking to himself in Macs.. Weird day. It was just the slackest day. Talked and talked almost the whole day and now am damn shagged.

Alright, getting back GP and Bio papers tomorrow. =S Not really looking forward to it, but also can't wait to get back all the results so that I can become a full-fledged mugger. And oh yes! Going out with Wendy and perhaps Lydia tomorrow :D Can't wait!

I can download Grey's Anatomy via torrent. But I don't know how! Anyone can teach me? :)

/EDIT
Oh gosh. I just saw something really shocking. Its so darn heartbreaking to find backstabbers around your friend; and actually to witness her talking bad right behind your friend's back.. like WTH?! She even claimed to be in my friend's clique somemore. Thank goodness my experience in TPJC doesn't have any of those crap. I wonder if I stayed after 1st 3 mths... would I have experience that too. :( And seeing the state my friend is in... I can just cry. So time and environment do change people...

URGHHHHH. Grey's Anatomy Season Three has premiered on ABC....... but I can't watch it because I'm not a US citizen...... Damn. Watched the trailer, read the episode sypnosis for the 1st episode of season three and I'm just so bummed that I can't watch the whole episode. The sight of Izzie just breaks my heart.. Sigh. And when Christina said to Burke "Don't ever die"; I just wanted to break down and brawl that instant. Man, when will Season 3 be shown on Channel 5?! Or AXN?

And I just love the trailer and flashbacks featuring the song How To Save A Life by The Fray.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

The Fray - How To Save A Life

Ok, nobody understands my ramblings..

The Banquet is a damn good movie. Zhang Ziyi's acting is superb; heck I think its better than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I think all the gore and head-chopping and swordfighting can even be compared with Kill Bill. There is so much literature in this movie. I absolutely love the songs and poems.. :) And all the palace scenes are breathtaking. Words don't do this movie justice. Rah, I can't stop thinking about the show; this is what good movies do to you..

Now I feel like watching alot of movies. I wanna watch World Trade Centre, Miami Vice, The Black Dahlia... Saw the trailer for WTC today, and I bet I'm going to come out of the theatre with red swollen eyes if I watch it.

And now that I can sleep well, I have very very weird dreams. Hmm.

WOOHOO prelims are finally over! :D Oh gosh, right after the prelims I went on a pigging out and intensive shopping spree with my mommy dearest! Went to Pariss to eat (finally!) and gosh, the Sishamo fish was so good we had to have seconds. Once you bite into the crispy skin it was all roe inside, it was damn good! And there was oreo cheesecake too! My favourite. I don't know, but no matter how an oreo cheesecake is made it'll always taste good, haha. I have a really funny picture of my mom pigging out but in order to save her face I won't upload here, lol.

After that I got almost everything on my shopping list! And even new underwear! I love them! They are so colourfully-striped, haha. I'm so fortunate to have such a fabulous mom; we travelled from tampines mall to white sands and even all the way to parkway parade! But after all that pigging we should exercise anyway; and really, shopping is a great way to exercise. Now I'm listening to Jay Chou's new album (I really got it!); I still prefer his qi li xiang album, but this album's not bad too, I like tracks 1, 7 & 8. :)

I just watched Nightmare Before Christmas again. Sucha touching story, almost cried. Jack & Sally. :D I LOVE Tim Burton's movies; from Sleepy Hollow to Corpse Bride.. love them all! Alright time to enjoy the liberation.... Ahhhh. No more insomia and vomitting :) Heck the results, haha.

All it took was a smile.

Just came back from swimming and sauna with my mom. It feels darn good.. and it felt as if we had the pool all to ourselves because there was only one guy swimming (but rather noisily -.-) other than us.

1 more paper left! Oh gosh am feeling really relieved after all those cramming of information into my saturated brain. Heh, can already feel all the Chem and Maths diffusing out, hope Bio doesn't 'cos its Bio paper 1 tomorrow. Today's Chem MCQ was quite bad; and surprisingly tougher than last year's AJ paper 1. -.- So many calculations I wanna die. Can confirm this year's papers are way harder than last yr's.

Just read Gayle's and Mr Wang's blogs yesterday. Haha, to think Gayle was in the same OG as me 1st 3 months in AC. Anyway its really embarassing how oppressive the S'pore govt can be sometimes. I agree with Mr Wang although I didn't like Chee Soon Juan, this incident actually made me sympathise with him. The photos are pretty good.

Now I'm addicted to Muse again. And I wanna get Jay Chou's new album, been hearing how good it is everywhere..

Fear, and panic in the air
I want to be free
From desolation and despair
And I feel like everything I sow
Has been swept away
Well I refuse to let you go

I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met you

Loneliness be over
When will this
Loneliness be over?

Life will flash before my eyes
So scattered and rushed
I want to touch the other side
And no one thinks they are to blame
Why can't we see
That when we bleed, we bleed the same?

Muse - Map Of The Problematique

Can't wait for shopping spree tomorrow after Bio! :D

I love Ronin's new song, One More Moment.

Don't take too long to say
I love you to the ones you love
Cause time has a habit of slipping away
And out on the clear blue sky
When lightning strikes on a sunny day
Just take me in and keep me from the rain
And the words that seem so hard to say
Come out when you've gone away
Just stay a little while and hear me say
That I want you here tonight
And I need you by my side
For just one more moment
For just one more moment with you

Ronin - One More Moment

Anyway the weather really sucked yesterday. Was sneezing really badly the whole day. Today's so, so much better. Just came back from a swim! It just feels so good to exercise a 'lil after all those cramming, and being stuck at the desk. But the slacking has got to me. Now I find it quite difficult to cram Biology again. Urgh. But nevertheless I'm going to try to crammm later. What kind of option does Bio paper 3 give us anyway? We even have to study core as well as the whole book on option topics. The only option is between 2 essay questions. And only 1 and a half hours to finish 3 questions with 4 parts worth 15 marks each, and 1 essay of 20 marks?!

...............

Jiayou, people, jiayou.

/EDIT
OH GOSH. BIO OPTION IS FREAKIN' BORING. ESP. PLANTS AND GROWTH AND ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION.... ok, EVERYTHING.

:D I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ADORE this song. Boston by Augustana. My goodness, its been some time since I've been touched by a song. Its a MUST-listen. :) Anyway Chem paper 2's over. Well, no comments....... Oh yah, ionic and kinetics didn't even come out!! What the?! But anyhow you must listen to this song! It'll definitely cheer you up :D

Essential yet appealed
Carry all your thoughts, across an open field
When the flowers gaze at you
they're not the only ones who cry when they see you
You said 'you don't know me, and you don't even care'
ooo yea
And she said 'you don't know me, and you don't wear my
chains'
ooo yea

She said I think I'm going to Boston
I think I'll start a new life
I think I'll start it over
No one knows my name
I'll get out of California
I'm tired of the weather
I think I'll get a lover
I'll fly them out to Spain

Boston by Augustana

I'm gonna listen to songs the whole day today.... Heh of which I was so deprived of during the last week. Muahah. And been having insomia and vomitting out my breakfast past few days. My classmates think I'm 2 days pregnant, but who'll get pregnant during prelims?! LOL. Anw its a horrible feeling. Never had that before. Oh well 3 days to replenish my energy... then 4 more days and its DONE. Persevere.....

/EDIT
Been reading studentssketchpad and its just freaking funny. These are just a few of the many hilarious ones..

5 papers down; 5 more to go!

Halfway through.. And so far its been alright, but not fantastic too. So far, Chem's the worst for me I guess. And I made two damn careless mistakes for Maths paper 1. Bio was a 'lil better than I expected. GP.. well luckily I got an essay question which I could write tons of crap about.

But really thank God for being with me through this whole period; its times like these when I can feel that He's really by my side. So everyone going through this don't give up alright! Just do to the best of your ability and leave the rest to God. :) Even if this prelim is not well done, there's still time to catch up! JIAYOU!

Anyway Singapore Idol's just over. Ah, Hady sang my favourite song... Desperado! :D Hah, voted for him and Jon this time; 'cos Jon was too good already. His first song was amazing! So both of them must get through so that I'll not waste my money! =x

Tomorrow's Chem paper 2. 1 1/2 hours and then FREEEE till next week. Yeah!

Urgh.. alright back to chem... urgh ionic...

All it took was a smile.

Goodness. The moment I open my Biology file, all I can think of is SLEEP. Man. I need to really buck up my studying pace. But as I look through the prelim time table, its not so bad after all (but I didn't say not bad). At least there's some time to study in between, like one afternoon. -.- One afternoon to cram all the Biology facts. Kinda reminds me of Olevel prelims. But somehow this feels a million times worse.

So here's the Prelim time-table as a nice reminder to myself and everyoneee.

11 Sep Mon
0800-0930 GP Paper 1
1000-1130 GP Paper 2
1300-1545 Chem Paper 3

12 Sep Tue
0800-1100 Maths Paper 1

13 Sep Wed
0800-1000 Biology Paper 2 (gonna be a killer for me)

14 Sep Thur
0800-0930 Chem Paper 2

Yay, Fri and weekend break to mug.

18 Sep Mon
1300-1430 Biology Paper 3 (morning mug.... and then afternoon die)

19 Sep Tue
0800-1100 Maths Paper 2

20 Sep Wed
0800-0900 Chem Paper 1 (how to not slack?!!)

21 Sep Thur
0800-0915 Biology Paper 1 (how to not slack?!!)

After that, FREEDOM!!!!!!!!! For a few days, that is. Wah, I feel like I'm dying already.. TPJC sure know how to strategise. All the paper1s for last. -sob- By 20 Sep everyone will be half-slacking or 3/4-dead already. I know I will be.

Ok, enough of all the pessimism. JIAYOU! Just do our best!!

Anyway, just watched House on AXN. Mad show. But quite funny la. ARGH I'm such a TV addict! Even watched CSI last night until 2am.. when it wasn't even like fantastic. OKOK enough. STUDY!!
